Success is all about partnerships…

Riding on their strong reputation and proven track record for the past 37 years, ICMS Pty Ltd is growing from strength to strength with a recent wave of international and national convention wins across the country.

All this experience counts says Ms Judy Brett and Ms Glenys Harrington who were part of the bid team that recently won the bid to host the 5th International Congress of the Asia Pacific Society of Infection Control [APSIC] to be held in Melbourne in October 2011 and is expected to attract over 1,000 delegates.

“The outstanding support from the Melbourne Convention and Visitors Bureau (MCVB) and ICMS was the one of the key factors in our organisation winning the bid to host this prestigious event,” said Ms Brett. “We look forward to working with the ICMS team in the lead up to 2011, to present one of the best conference experiences the members have ever had.”

Dr Caroline Hong, Chief Executive Officer for Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine said she works on the principle that conference management is a win-win partnership.

“The key to success is the ability to work harmoniously with honesty and transparency, meeting deadlines and meeting our Society’s goals. ICMS has worked effectively to achieve our society’s objectives since 2002. And they have been easy to communicate with and are both professional and client focussed.

“Together, we are currently planning our annual scientific meeting in Cairns in September and the 12th World Congress of the World Federation for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology in Sydney in 2010 for 2,500 delegates,” stated Dr Hong.

National Business Development Manager for ICMS, Ms Abigail Markey-Krause said their clients told her time and time again that experience counts and the fact that we are an Australian family owned and managed company is what keeps them coming back.

“Our clients have our personal guarantee we are here for the long haul, that is our point of difference,” said Ms Markey-Krause.
